Quick Start Guide for Coaches

This walkthrough takes Coaches from install to first Tip, with links to detailed guidance where helpful.

1. Install the app
Search for “Elevate Golf” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and install.

2. Open the app and begin registration
Enter a valid email ID on the welcome screen and press the golf ball with the arrow to proceed.

3. Verify with OTP
An email with a 4-digit OTP is sent. Enter the code on the OTP screen to verify the account.

4. Create the profile
Answer the initial questions to establish a professional profile baseline (see Creating Your Coach Profile).

5. Set up the IQ Match™ profile
Complete the mandatory “Necessary Questions” so IQ Match™ can calculate a profile-level alignment score for Players.

6. Optionally complete the Advanced set
Add detail on coaching style, tone, specialisms, and accessibility. This improves discovery quality and fit with Players.

7. Upload certificates and qualifications
Provide proof of credentials for review as per Uploading Qualifications.

8. Upload a profile picture
Add a clear professional image to help Players recognise the profile in the Coach Gallery.

9. Write a concise bio
Explain background, approach, and focus areas. Keep it clear and aligned to real strengths.

10. Create the Profile Video
Record a short introduction that demonstrates presence and approach. This is surfaced to Players in the Coach Gallery.

11. Create Sample Tips
Produce sample Tips to evidence clarity and format expectations. The editing workflow is covered in Using the Video Editor. Finished Tips are showcased and can be referenced by Players in the Tip Gallery.

12. Get verified
Account moves to review. Verification status is managed under Verification Process.

13. Link or create a PayPal Business Account
Connect PayPal Business to receive earnings. Refund handling and third-party fees are explained in Refunds & Cancellations.

14. Set the Tip Rate
Use the in-built Tip Calculator to set a fair price aligned to lesson rates and market positioning.

15. Profile created
Once verified and priced, the profile becomes discoverable through the Coach Gallery and IQ Match™.

16. Adjust the Tip Inbox Quota if needed
Set the maximum number of concurrent requests that can be held at once to manage workload and delivery quality.

17. Receive Tip requests
Tip requests appear in the inbox. Deliver short, focused Personalised Tips. Delivery timing guidance is outlined in Average Response Time. If delays occur, see Tip Delays.

18. Use ‘Online Now’ to improve discoverability
Enable Online Now to appear in the dedicated section for Players seeking quick turnaround. Remember to switch it off when busy.

  2. Safety, fairness, and trust are supported by Player & Coach Safety and Independence & Fairness.
  3. Earnings and refunds are handled per Refunds & Cancellations.
