Criticism is part of coaching on Elevate Golf. Not every
Player responds the same way to a Tip, and some feedback will be less positive
than expected. In a digital setting where relationships can end simply by not
choosing a Coach again, Players may feel more comfortable expressing critical
views.
The goal is to respond professionally and learn from what is
shared. Start by reading the feedback carefully and identifying the specific
point of concern. Where a point is valid, adjust future Tips to be clearer,
more focused, or better aligned to the Player’s Focus Area and requested
Format, Tone, or Style. Small refinements often make a big difference.
When concern relates to understanding, a one-time
Clarification Process can turn a negative
experience into a useful one. A concise clarification that reinforces one
actionable step helps the Player apply the original guidance without opening a
back-and-forth.
If criticism appears unfair or stems from a misunderstanding
of what a Tip is versus a lesson, the
Fair Play
Guarantee and
Acceptable Use Policy protect Coaches. Reviews and disputes are assessed against platform standards,
using the original request, the delivered Tip, and any clarification as
evidence. Coaches cannot reply directly to reviews - see
Ratings & Reviews.
Handled well, criticism strengthens coaching. It shows that
a Coach listens, adapts, and maintains professional standards, which builds
trust and supports stronger long-term outcomes for Players.
