Clarification Process

Clarification Process

After a Tip is received, a Player who needs something explained more clearly may send a one-time ClarificationRequest. Clarification is encouraged before leaving a low rating, writing a negative review, or seeking a refund. It gives the Coach a chance to expand, re-explain, or offer a simpler cue so the Player can act with confidence.

Clarification protects both sides. For Players, it offers a second pass at the same guidance, focused on making the message easy to apply. For Coaches, it reduces the risk that a single misunderstanding leads to a poor outcome in Ratings & Reviews or to a refund request under Refunds & Cancellations.

When a clarification is requested, the response should be prompt, clear, and aligned to the original Tip. It can simplify language, add a brief example, or give one practical checkpoint. It should not open a new discussion or change the scope. The process is not a chat.

If concerns remain after the clarification, the Player may follow the normal paths set out in Ratings & Reviews and Refunds & Cancellations. This sequence supports fairness and trust while keeping the focus on progress.
