How to Record & Upload

Recording and uploading a swing is quick and straightforward with Elevate Golf. A smartphone and a clear space are enough. It is often easiest for a friend to film on the course (the truest version of a swing) but self-recording works well too. Place the camera so it captures the full movement, either face-on (from the side) or down-the-line (from behind), and keep the view steady and well-lit. A tripod or phone clip is recommended; there is no need for expensive equipment. For extra tips, see [Best Practices for Clear Videos].

Videos can be uploaded in two ways: recorded in-app or selected from pre-recorded clips. Each swing video must be no longer than 20 seconds. This respects a Coach’s time; the goal is simply to see the swing. Any additional context (for example, driving straighter, improving putting, gaining consistency) should be added in the text box so the Coach can shape the response precisely. If filming is not possible right now, see Submitting Without a Video.

The upload process is designed to be fast and reliable, with built-in checks to confirm that the video is ready for review. Within a few taps, the request is sent to the selected Coach, and personal guidance is on its way. Every video is stored securely and used only to provide the requested Tip - see the Privacy Policy and How we Handle Data. For troubleshooting, visit Video Upload Issues.
