Traditional Coaching vs Personalised Tips

Traditional Coaching vs Personalised Tips

Traditional golf lessons have always been valuable, giving Players the chance to learn directly from an experienced Coach. However, for many Players, there are barriers that make lessons difficult to access. Lessons often require booking in advance, travelling to a course or range, and paying for longer sessions that may not fit into a busy schedule. Costs can also add up quickly, putting regular coaching out of reach for many Players.

Confidence can also be a challenge. Beginners in particular may feel intimidated standing in front of a Coach, worried about making mistakes or not knowing the basics. Even for experienced Players, lessons can sometimes feel overwhelming when too much information is shared at once.

Barriers also exist for Coaches. Cancellations from students due to weather, illness, or scheduling conflicts can affect earnings (see Refund & Cancellation Policy). Bad weather can close ranges or courses, limiting opportunities to coach, while some Players simply prefer the comfort of staying indoors. These factors can create uncertainty for Coaches who rely on in-person sessions for income.

These barriers mean that many people who want to improve never take lessons as often as they would like, and Coaches sometimes struggle with inconsistent schedules. Elevate Golf does not aim to replace traditional lessons - they remain an important part of the game. Instead, the platform offers an alternative that removes many of these barriers - quick, affordable Personalised Tips that can be accessed anytime, anywhere (see Get a Tip). This makes progress possible for more Players, while also giving Coaches a fairer, more reliable way to share their expertise (see What Coaches Can Expect and What Elevate Golf Expects).
