Elevate Golf uses encryption and secure storage methods to protect platform
data. Personal details, Tip history, and communication between Players and
Coaches are encrypted in transit and at rest so information cannot be read or
intercepted by unauthorised parties.
Sensitive financial information, such as card or bank details, is not stored
by Elevate Golf. Payments are processed by trusted third-party providers such
as PayPal, which handle financial data under established security standards.
Keeping payment data outside Elevate Golf reduces risk while keeping
transactions safe.
Core application data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with strict
access controls. Operational records are managed in Zoho and other vetted
providers under contractual safeguards. Supporting services include Branch.io
for deep linking and attribution, Sentry for crash reporting, Expo for build
and runtime management, and Firebase for telemetry and messaging where
documented. Access follows the principle of least privilege and administrative
activity is logged and monitored.
These protections mean that information is handled with care and protected
by robust security measures across the stack. For the broader framework, see [Security & Data Handling].
