Adding Context - Title & Issue Description

Adding Context - Title & Issue Description

Onboarding covers background; this step is about the Tip Title and Issue Description for the request at hand. Clear, simple wording helps a Coach understand the subject quickly and helps a Player find the Tip later Saving & Replaying Tips.

Tip Title (2 to 4 words)

Keep it short and specific to one Focus Area.

·        Do: “Slicing driver”, “Topping irons”, “Thinning wedges”, “Hooked 7-iron”, “Lag putting”, “Fairway bunker”, “Pre-shot nerves”

·        Don’t: “Help with swing”, “Everything is off”, “General advice”

Why it matters: The title appears with the request and alongside the saved Tip, making it easy to scan and search later Saving & Replaying Tips.

Issue Description (≤ 500 characters)

This box is intentionally short so a Coach can read it easily. Aim for concise, situational detail:

1.     Club/shot & intent (e.g., driver off tee, stock 7-iron)

2.      Miss/strike pattern (starts left, fades about 10 yds with thin contact)

3.      When it shows up (under pressure, from tight lies)

4.      Helpful ask (one checkpoint and one drill, perhaps a 60-second routine)

Examples a Player might write:

·        “Driver off the tee. Starts left, curves right about 15 yds (slice). Worse on final holes. Seeking one checkpoint and one drill for a more neutral face-to-path.”

·       “7-iron from fairway. Contact thin with a small fade about 5 to 10 yards. Looking for one feel for better strike and a simple practice routine.”

·       “Greenside bunker, damp sand. Blading over green. Need basic setup plus a swing cue for consistent splash.”

·        “Final three holes. I start calculating score and tense up. Looking for a 60-second between-shots routine to stay present.”

One Tip should cover one Focus Area. If there are multiple issues, submit separate requests so each answer stays precise. For filming guidance, see How to Record & Upload and Best Practices for Clear Videos. When a video is not practical, see Submitting Without a Video.
