Availability defines whether a Coach is open to receiving Tip requests.

Coaches remain discoverable in the Coach Gallery whether set to Available or Unavailable. A Player can open the profile card, view details, and even save the Coach for later.

The difference is that a Player cannot request a Tip from a Coach who is Unavailable. In this case, the Coach’s profile card shows an indicator and is marked as Unavailable.

Availability settings exist to allow flexibility. A Coach may need to take a break due to illness, travel, or personal circumstances such as bereavement. Switching to Unavailable provides that option while keeping the profile visible.

Remaining discoverable ensures expectations are managed. Players know the Coach is still on the platform but is temporarily not taking work.
