Setting a Tip Rate is an important step for every Coach on
Elevate Golf. The process is supported by the Tip Calculator, a tool
designed to make pricing transparent, fair, and easy to understand.
The Tip Calculator works by helping Coaches translate their
existing lesson prices into a per-minute cost. A Coach enters the cost and
length of a typical lesson, and the system calculates a cost per minute. The
average time needed to deliver a Tip is around 4 minutes, although this often
reduces with practice. The Player’s Tip cost is therefore based on 4 minutes of
the calculated per-minute rate.
The calculator then breaks down the income from each Tip. It
shows:
Payment
gateway fees: deducted first.
Payout
to the Coach: 85% of the remaining balance, transferred directly.
Elevate
Golf commission: 15% of the remaining balance, split equally.
7.5%
reinvested into marketing to support Coaches and the brand.
7.5%
used for application development, new features, and human resources.
The calculator displays approximate earnings per Tip,
rounding to two decimal places. Actual payouts are always precise and accurate
to the final decimal.

community. It reinforces the platform’s philosophy of fairness and transparency
while ensuring that Players pay a rate that reflects professional value.
